Boundary County Republican Central Committee Commits Treachery Against the Idaho GOP
Prior to the November, 2022 elections, the Boundary County Republican Central Committee (BCRCC) actively supported a candidate that lost the Primary Election, and ran as a write-in candidate. This is a treacherous act against the Idaho GOP, and the GOP as a whole organization.
The BCRCC refused to actively support the candidates that won the Primary Elections. One example of this, is where the BCRCC allowed Tim Bertling, who lost the Primary Election to Steve Fioravanti for a County Commissioner seat, to promote his campaign during a BCRCC public meeting. Bertling was allowed to use the time allocated to him as a “County Official”, to give a speech about his campaign as a write-in candidate. This time is supposed to be used by the County Officials to speak in an official capacity, and are only allowed to speak about official business that pertains to their capacity as an elected official. Les Pinkerton was sitting in as the temporary BCRCC Chairman.
A citizen sitting next to Bertling, attempted to interject the campaign promotion, when Les Pinkerton interrupted the citizen, and demanded the citizen keep his mouth shut, while Bertling was speaking. Pinkerton even stated to the effect that “Tim Bertling has his right to speak for his two-minutes”.
Pinkerton and other BCRCC members gave an idiotic excuse claiming “The Committee had no idea Bertling would speak of his campaign. It all just happened so fast, and we had no way of stopping it”.
One BCRCC member said that “it was a breech of protocol”, regarding allowing Bertling to promote his campaign.
Watching the videos of the meeting, the entire October 3, 2022 meeting was obviously a planned, coordinated attack on a single individual member of the BCRCC over remarks made suggesting corruption in Boundary County. Other elected officials, in addition to BCRCC members took turns attacking the single BCRCC member. This was also gross negligence of duty by the BCRCC to participate in and allow the attacks on an individual. Furthermore, it is obvious that the BCRCC intentionally allowed Bertling to promote his write-in campaign. Many BCRCC members worked with the marxist-democrats in the community, to make sure Bertling got elected. Members even invited Marxist-democrats to attend the BCRCC meetings.
Caleb Davis, who is the Chairman of the BCRCC was out of town. Les Pinkerton sat in as chair in the absence of Caleb Davis. Davis was notified of the fiasco, and given access to the videos of the event. Although it is obvious that the whole thing was coordinated, and Bertling was intentionally allowed to promote his campaign. Caleb Davis did nothing about it, and made excuses for those involved in this travesty.

Steve Fioravanti was never supported by the BCRCC. In fact, several BCRCC members had Bertling campaign signs on their properties. These people should be banned from the GOP, forever.
